Borno State deputy governor HE Hon Umar Usman Kadafur accompanied by the newly sworn in of the Borno State Ministry For Reconstruction, Rehabilitation And Resettlement (MRRR) to commissioned 300 housing units constructed in Maina Hari Community by the Borno State Government as part of the state government resettlement drive of the displaced people as a result of insurgency.
It could be recalled that people of Gur, Mandara Girau and Buratai were attacked and fled as a result of insurgency, adding that IDPS from Gur, Mandara Girau and Buratai are expected to benefit from the 300 houses and promised that more houses would be built very soon.
Engr Ibrahim Idris Mnse during his remarks said the 300 houses semi detachable single two rooms in each block constructed by the Ministry of RRR will accommodate two households each as part of Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum mni resettlement process.
The Honourable commissioner also urged that more houses will be constructed soon.

Borno State Deputy Governor H.E Umar Usman Kadafur in line with the present administration efforts to cushion the hardship being experienced by the people as a result of fuel subsidy removal has today unveiled the distribution of palliative to 12 wards and 270 units in Biu Local Government.
The deputy governor said the 22 wards and 270 units of Biu are expected to benefit from the palliative ,stressing that modalities for the distribution to reach all beneficiaries have been mapped out and urged the people to be orderly and conduct themselves peacefully to ensure smooth distribution.
The deputy governor said all local governments in Borno State would benefit from the distribution of palliative as directed by the federal government to relief the hardship been experienced as a result of subsidy removal.
